At the igus stand, in addition to innovations for clean rooms and plain bearings made from 100% recycled material, you will also find information about something completely new: the carbon footprint of our most popular plain bearings will be shown in our webshop. In more and more areas, CO₂ emissions must be identified and reduced. We will support you with this. The igus company is working hard not only to measure the CO₂ footprint of every sold component and make it transparent for you, but also to continuously reduce it. As a first step, we are now displaying the CO₂ footprint of our best-selling materials in our webshop. In addition, this information will be included in all product ranges and catalogues in the future. This will allow you to select and compare the bearing with the lowest carbon footprint for your application. At the same time, we are working hard to reduce these values even further in the future and to report them for even more products. At the igus stand at Hannover Messe, igus employees will be happy to tell you more!
